Neck Pain, Back Pain and
Foot Pain Discovery "

The first concept to get is that Mother Nature designed the human body as an extremely well engineered system. As in any well engineered system there are backup systems in case the main system is not working. Also, there are planned regular repair times and other systems designed to protect certain areas.

"Muscles, Bones and Ligaments"

Varying the shape and form as well as movement of the human body is achieved by using muscles to move bones. In addition to moving bones, the muscles have the job of holding bones together at the joints.

However, muscles cannot work all the time. They have to have some time to relax and rebuild. This is done during periods of rest or sleep. This could make for a problem, especially regarding the muscle's job of holding the bones together at the joints. Just imagine waking up and having your toes mixed up with your ribs! That is what would happen if you did not have a backup system to hold the bones together at the joints while you sleep.

As in any well engineered system there is a backup system to take over when the muscles are down for rebuilding and repair. In the body that backup systen is made of ligaments. You can see an example of ligaments the next time you eat a chicken leg. It is the tough material holding the thigh bone to the drumstick bone.

"The Five Springs"

The human body has five (5) springs built-in to its structure. These springs are made to absorb mechanical shocks to prevent damage to the body. There are certain muscles which are designed to operate these springs. The five springs are in the neck, upper back, lower back, shoulders and feet.

"Long, Medium and Short Muscles"

In addition to operating the springs, the muscles have three jobs to do. First is to move the bones to have the body do action such as throwing a ball.

Second is to keep bones aligned in relationship to each other. An example of this would be the guy wires which keep a television or radio transmitting tower straight. If some of those wires break the tower will bend. There are muscles in the back which do this for the spine.

The third job the muscles do is to keep the bones tight in joint.

In some areas of the body, such as the back, there are muscles which do only one of these jobs. In other areas of the body, such as the arms, a muscle or group of muscles can do all three jobs.

"Special Assemblies"

Several special assemblies and corrective actions did not make it into any of these books. They will be covered in future books or video tapes.

One example is the shoulder assembly. You have seen some shoulders stick out in back like wings. When overloaded there are ligaments which could hurt or be damaged. Same with the pelvis, especially for pregnant women.

Yet another special case is the female womb which is attached to the lower back with a very thick ligament. If the lower back is not used correctly severe back pain can result when the fetus gets big in the last three months of pregnancy.

There are other drills and actions which have been uncovered which can help in gaining control over the muscles which will be in future publications.
